Dave Hulsey, Associate Director, Indiana University Press and Director of Sales and Marketing, and Naz Pantaloni, Copyright Program Librarian, Indiana University Libraries, will discuss the commercial and legal aspects of book publishing contracts. Participants in the workshop will learn about the major provisions of academic book contracts, authors’ rights and obligations under such deals, and what to look for when negotiating with publishers.
