This session represents one in a series of workshops being arranged collaboratively between the Office of the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education and the Libraries to support the campus focus on undergraduate research, including an initiative to bring undergraduate research posters into the main library on a routine basis. In this session we will introduce the basics of poster design to students, underscoring the component parts of research to students. With the help of subject librarians we will be able to focus in on the disciplinary differences in poster presentations to further refine students’ understanding of scholarly research and presentation.
