Whether you're going back to school, or coming straight from your undergraduate degree, graduate school requires a new set of skills and attitudes. This roundtable series will introduce you to some strategies and resources that will empower you to take ownership of your education and thrive in your program.

Graduate school is demanding, at times if feels like you are juggling multiple responsibilities at the same time. This could be stressful, and it can get more complicated when we do not have time for self-care or taking care of our basic needs. This is physically and emotionally draining. Sometimes, we lose our balance and things start getting difficult, making it hard to face daily life and academic challenges. The key is 1. recognizing when you are out of balance and 2. bouncing back to continue meeting the demands of the situation using healthy coping mechanisms. For that reason, in this workshop we will be discussing topics related to resiliency and how to develop it.  Join us to work on a plan that will help bouncing back when you are out of balance.

All graduate students, at any stage or from any discipline, are encouraged to attend.
